Journal: 04/30/12

I've decided to try writing journal entry posts each time I visit the garden, to keep better track of the work getting done.  Today's progress:

1. Planted carrot seeds to fill in the carrot bed
2. Weeded spinach patches
3. Picked two romaine lettuce heads
4. Planted two anaheim chili plants, plus several sweet bells, including two in the broccoli bed where I had extra space; I have two more chilis that I'll have to decide what to do with
5. Hoed a little around the emerging potato plants
6. R watered and watered, then helped me fill the jugs at the water hole; he seems fascinted with the water hole
7. Eggplant seedlings don't look good
