My tomatoes have started to grow fruit! I am so excited for the first ripe one, but kind of nervous because we still haven't gotten the squirrel cages ready. And I know they are hungry now...see tomorrow's post for details!
Even the American Cherry Tomatoes have flowers on them now. When I grew them last year I thought they were confirming all my worst fears about heirloom plants (they took forever to produce fruit!) but boy were they worth it. This year it seems like they'll be ready sooner. Hmm ... I hope that doesn't mean they won't taste as good...
