Check out this video of our backyard last week during the downpour that would not end. That's about an inch of water on the sidewalk. I was trying awfully hard not to get the video camera soaked while shooting this.

You could use the soundtrack to that video as a substitute for one of those "rainstorm in the jungle" white noise soundtracks.
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow! We had a lot of water on our back patio, but I don't think it was as bad as yours. Is that bad news for your potted veggies or home garden?
