Pea Sprouts

Pretty little pea sprouts

The sugar snap peas I planted for fall are coming up in my garden. This is the first time I've planted these in the fall, and I was surprised how fast they came up. I'm not sure if the difference is due to the warmer weather, the excessive hurricane rains, or both. I planted them every 4-5 inches in two rows the entire length of the former corn bed, so I am hoping for a lot of peas. I need to get some fence posts out there, though, as the package says they need a 2-ft high trellis.
The broccoli and cauliflower sprouts are up, too, but they're just not as photogenic.
