Back when I was still collecting materials to cover the new garden bed, I covered over part of it with cardboard and compost from my bin. When I went out to do the rest and pulled up one edge of the cardboard that was already in place, this is what I found. It is quite the largest pile of worm castings I have ever seen! I have read that worms like to collect under the cardboard in the spring and this certainly seems to support that claim!
WOW is all I can say
ReplyDeleteIt is quite an impressive pile, isn't it?
