Spring Bonus

 Since the weather's been a little warmer lately, the boys and I have been taking walks around the neighborhood again.  It's fun to see the changes year-to-year, new houses being built, old ones being bought and sold, families moving in and out (as evidenced by toys on the lawn).  The other day we encountered a little spring bonus: a pile of freshly cut tree trimmings, with obvious flower buds on them.  I've never forced flowers before, but it seemed like a great opportunity to try.  I was very pleased with the results!
