Last weekend I picked the following to take on a vacation with friends:
1 lb lettuce
5 oz spinach
N felt the greens were a little past their prime (I cut down several of the plants that overwintered in my cold frame), but others (politely?) said they were great.

There was no politeness necessary. The only thing we had to compare your greens to were the store bought mixed greens, and yours were (ARE - still eating the leftover spinach!) so much better!!
